Your Documents, Our Priority

At SignYourDocuments.com, security isn't just a feature—it's the foundation of everything we do.

We understand that your documents contain sensitive information that requires the highest level of protection. That's why we've built our platform with multiple layers of advanced security to safeguard your data at every step.

Secure Document Technology

The Four Pillars of Our Security

Our comprehensive security framework is built on these essential foundations

Data Protection

All data is encrypted both in transit and at rest using military-grade 256-bit AES encryption, ensuring your documents remain private and secure.

Access Control

Multi-factor authentication, role-based permissions, and detailed audit logs ensure only authorized users can access your documents.

Infrastructure

Our systems are hosted in SOC 2 compliant data centers with 24/7 monitoring, redundant systems, and regular security updates.

Application

Regular security audits, penetration testing, and code reviews ensure our platform remains resilient against emerging threats.

Secure Encryption

Enterprise-Grade Encryption

Our multi-layered encryption approach ensures your documents remain protected throughout their lifecycle on our platform.

TLS/SSL Encryption

All data transmitted between your device and our servers is protected with TLS 1.3 encryption, preventing interception.

AES-256 Encryption

Documents are encrypted at rest using AES-256, the same standard used by financial institutions and government agencies.

Unique Encryption Keys

Each document is encrypted with its own unique key, ensuring that even in the unlikely event of a breach, individual documents remain protected.

Hardware Security Modules (HSM)

Enterprise plans include HSM protection for cryptographic operations, providing an additional layer of security.

Advanced Authentication

Protecting your account is the first step in securing your documents. Our multi-layered authentication system ensures only authorized users can access your data.

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Add an extra layer of security by requiring both a password and a verification code sent to your mobile device.

Biometric Authentication

Use fingerprint or facial recognition on supported devices for seamless and secure login.

Single Sign-On (SSO)

Enterprise customers can integrate with existing identity providers using SAML 2.0 or OAuth 2.0.

Session Management

Automatic session timeouts and the ability to view and terminate active sessions from any device.

Authentication Security

Security FAQs

Common questions about our security measures

All documents and data transmitted between your device and our servers are protected using TLS 1.3 encryption, the most secure version of the protocol. This ensures that even if someone intercepts the data, they cannot read or modify it.

Your documents are stored in SOC 2 Type II certified data centers with physical and logical access controls. The data is encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption, and we maintain redundant copies in geographically separate locations to ensure availability and disaster recovery.

We use a multi-factor authentication process to verify signers' identities. This includes email verification, phone verification for high-value documents, and optional ID verification through our advanced KYC (Know Your Customer) process. Each signing event is recorded in an audit trail with IP address, timestamp, and device information.

We have a comprehensive incident response plan in place. In the unlikely event of a security breach, we will promptly notify affected users, investigate the cause, take steps to contain and remediate the breach, and implement measures to prevent similar incidents in the future. We comply with all applicable data breach notification laws.

Our system needs access to document content to facilitate the signing process. However, we have strict access controls and employee policies that prohibit unauthorized access to customer documents. Only essential personnel with a legitimate business need may access document content, and all such access is logged and monitored.

Document retention periods vary by subscription plan. Basic plans include 30-day retention, Professional plans include 1-year retention, and Enterprise plans include unlimited retention. You can download your documents at any time during the retention period. After the retention period expires, documents are securely deleted using industry-standard data deletion practices.
